Reflections on the Bard of Bengal

Join us for an intimate and enriching afternoon at the Margaret River Library as we delve into the timeless legacy of the great Bard of Bengal, Rabindranath Tagore, presented by the esteemed international Bengali poet, columnist, and translator, Tanmoy Chakraborty.

The event will feature:
- Engaging Presentations: Get to know Tagore and his poetry, providing insights into their timeless relevance and beauty. The show will feature rare glimpses of Tagore’s life and legacy in photos and film.
- Poetry Readings and Reflections: Experience Tanmoy’s own poetic creations, deeply influenced by Tagore’s, and listen to the exquisite, sweet-sounding Bengali language.
- Interactive Q&A: Facilitated by Lakshmi Kanchi, this session will allow the audience to engage directly with Tanmoy, exploring the themes and inspirations behind his works and Tagore’s lasting impact.
